Decided to keep track of my various crowd-funded projects and whether or not they’ve actually delivered on their promises. As of 13th of October 2014:
- Hints & Tips for Videogame Pioneers – Partially Delivered (book yet to be published)
- Snooperscope – Delivered (April 2014 deadline, delivered 23rd October)
- Commodore 64: A Visual Commpendium – Delivered
- The History of US Gold – Not Delivered (September 2015 deadline)
- Tool Pen – Delivered (October 2014 deadline, delivered 19th November)
- The Story of the ZX Spectrum in Pixels – Delivered (September 2015 deadline, delivered late December 2014)
- Commodore Amiga: A Visual Commpendium – Not Delivered (2015 deadline)
- Gamebuino – Delivered
I’ve only included projects that reached their funding goals, not projects that fell short and didn’t take pledges. So, four out of eight with perhaps a half-point given for the Hints & Tips for Videogame Pioneers book, which was derailed by Andrew Hewson’s falling ill – unforeseeable, entirely forgiveable and with promises that the book will be completed as soon as possible.
